# Discount Settings

This article describes how you can set up your discounts correctly on PuppetVendors.

###### How to set up discounts on PuppetVendors

1. In your merchant portal, go to **Settings**
2. Then **Calculations**
3. Click **Discounts**
4. Choose how you want your discounts to be handled - ***Split, Merchant bears discount, Vendor bears discount or no discount***

5. Click the **Save** button to save your preferences.

Discounts and commissions will be calculated according to your settings.
