# How to Apply Markup to Your Product Prices

This guide shows you the step-by-step instructions on how you can add a mark-up to your products' prices.

##### How to Apply Markup to Your Product Prices

1. Once the feature is enabled by PuppetVendors Support, navigate to **Settings**.

2. Under Products, go to Mark-up and fill out the details on the right part of the page

**Enable Markup:** Ticking this box adds markup to products approved or pushed to Shopify
**Apply Markup rate on:**  You can apply the markup rate on the Selling Price, Compare at Price or Cost of Goods
**Global Markup Type:** Choose between Percentage or Flat Amount
**Global Markup Rate:** Enter the rate here in numerical format

||| Marked up price will be the final selling price. Global rate automatically applies for new products.

3. Click Save once all details are filled out.

**For specific product markups:**

1. You can add markup for a specific product by clicking the Add Markup button found on the lower part of the page

2. This pop-up window will appear.

**Select Product: **enter three or more characters of your chosen product
**Markup Type:** Choose between Percentage or Flat
**Markup Rate:** Enter the rate in numerical format

|| The markups will be applied when products are pushed to Shopify.

3. Click Save to save your entries.  The list of products with markup will appear on the lower part of the page
