# How to create Custom Items (subscription, shipping fees, tips, etc.)

This article demonstrates how you can add/deduct charges for additional income from one or more vendors.  These can be applied one-time or as recurring charges.

###### Creating Custom Items

1. Go to **Settings**
2. Then **Custom Items** and fill out all the necessary details under '*Create Custom Item*'
3. Enter the **Title **- c*ustom item name like Rental fee, Subscription, Deduction etc*
4. **Amount **- amount to be charged to you or your vendor
5. Assign it to your chosen vendor/s
6. Choose the date when it will be applied
7. **Optional** - only if you choose to have the amount charged recurringly
8. Click the **Create** button to save your changes
