# Notifications

This article demonstrates how you may enable or disable new order email notifications for each of your vendors and also, how to prevent them from going to spam.

|| New notification options are constantly being added and they will show on the same page as they become available.

###### Types of notifications in PuppetVendors

Available notification options are:

**Orders**

***New order to vendor*** - Your vendors are automatically notified when they receive a new order.



**Merchant notifications**

***New vendor signup request -*** You will receive an email notification as soon as a potential vendor requests an account via your signup page.



**Vendor account & access**
***Vendor approval/invitation -*** Emails sent to your vendor when you approve them that includes their login link and password.
***Vendor application declined -*** Your vendor will receive and email when you decline their account request.
***Vendor password reset -*** Contains the password reset link when a vendor requests a password reset.



**Messages**
***Unread messages reminder -*** Daily email reminders to you and your vendors for unread messages.

###### How to enable/disable notifications

1. Go to **Settings**
2. Then **Communications**
3. Next, click **Notifications**
4. Tick the types of notifications you want to enable (4 and 5)
5. Click the **Save **button to save your preferences

###### How to Avoid Emails Going To Spam

To avoid notification emails going to spam for some instances, we recommend that you ask your vendors/sellers to add either your White-Label email or our notifications email (support@puppetvendors.com) to their email list for clients (contacts book).

The videos below show the steps on how this can be achieved for both Gmail and Hotmail. We will be more than happy to add more email clients if you have suggestions for them.

When creating a contact, we recommend adding the following information:

First Name: Your Business Name or PuppetVendors 
Email: Your Whitelabel Email or support@puppetvendors.com
