# Product Metafields

This article demonstrates how you can activate Metafields so your vendors can add additional product information that your store might require at a product level.

###### How to activate your Product Metafields

1. Go to **Settings**
2. Then **Products**
3. Click **Metafields**
4. Tick on the box to **Enable Product Metafields**
5. Click on the three-lined icon and drag and drop these to arrange according to order preference. 
6. You can choose which metafields can be visible to your vendors
7. Required metafields can also be set by ticking the boxes corresponding to the metafield of choice
8. Click on **Save**.

Selected metafields will now show and be available for your vendors when creating a new product or updating an existing one.
