# Retry a failed payout

Below are instructions on how you can **retry failed payouts** or simply **mark the payout as paid** if a different payout method was used.

###### How to retry a failed payout in PuppetVendors

1. Go to the **Payouts** tab
2. Then go to **Completed Payouts**
3. Filter your view to **Failed Payments**
4. Choose the payout to retry and click the **View Details** button

5. A new window will appear and depending on the error, you can click the **Retry Payout** button

6. You can also mark the payout as paid if it was paid through other methods like Cash, PayPal and/or Stripe accounts not connected to PuppetVendors, Bank Transfer or others.
7. The comments box is available should you want to add additional text or reference numbers
8. Click the **Save **button to save your entry

9. The payout status will change from Failed to **Paid**
