How to charge your vendors monthly subscription fees

This article demonstrates how you can create a subscription plan so your vendors pay you periodically (weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly) to access and use the vendor portal and upload products onto your platform.

Requirements
  • We now support five (5) plans at a time
  • A Stripe account is required for this to work. Please review if Stripe is available in your country before enabling this capability


How to set up Vendor Subscriptions


  1. Navigate to Settings, then click on Vendor Subscription on the left menu.

  1. This page will appear. Click the Create New Plan button.

How to exempt vendors from the subscription


The exemption allows vendors to skip the need to pay for your subscription.


  1. Navigate to Vendors, then click on Manage Vendors (Commissions and Profile). Tick the box corresponding to the vendor to be exempted from paying vendor subscriptions before clicking the Bulk Actions button.

  1. This window will pop-up. Go to Paywall tab and click Disable vendor subscription.

Remember to click the Save button to save your preferences.

What happens to our existing vendors?

  • Existing vendors will be prompted to select a plan once they login the first time around once at least 1 plan is activated.
