Migrating from Vendor Consignment to Puppet Vendors
If you are considering migrating from Vendor Consignment to Puppet Vendors, you are in the right place.
This guide will provide you with the necessary steps to make the transition process as smooth as possible.
Before starting, confirm that you have Puppet Vendors installed. If not, install Puppet Vendors from the Shopify App Store by clicking this link.
The guide below walks you through the process of migrating your
Existing Vendors
User Accounts (these are user emails linked to any vendor primarily used by vendors to log into the portal)
Payouts
Historical orders
Products
(1) Visit the Vendor Consignment app in your Shopify admin and click on the Vendors menu at the top of the screen. (2) Click on the export button. (refer to Image 1)
The file should contain a list of your vendors along with their commissions rate, pending commissions, total commissions paid, total amount earned, and payout PayPal email for each of your vendors.
(1) Navigate to the Accounts menu at the top of the screen. (2) Click on the export button. (refer to Image 2)
The file should contain a list of your vendors along with their associated email addresses which are used for logging into the vendor portal.
(1) Navigate to the Payouts menu at the top of the screen. (2) Click on the export button. (refer to Image 3)
The file should contain a list of your historical payouts by vendor and amount along with a payout note for each payout. The payouts will be grouped by vendor into a single payout when moving to Puppet Vendors.
Once you have exported all the three CSV files (vendors, accounts, payouts) following steps 1 to 3, please share them with our support team so our team can begin the migration for you.

Step 4: (Optional) Historical orders and products are automatically imported from your Shopify store automatically during app installation.
