Commission Preferences

This articles guides you on Puppet Vendors commission preferences and how this impacts your commissions and payouts.

Puppet Vendors uses the following prioritization for commissions rates:

By Sku = 1st

By Product = 2st

By Product Type = 3rd

By Sales Channels = 4th

By Vendor = 5th

Store's default = 6th

Where to set your Commissions

Commissions hierarchy

For example: if you have set a product specific rate but no vendor specific commission rate. Then, the By Product rate is used instead of the vendor rate. Similarly, if you set both the By Sku rate as well as the By Product rate, then the Sku rate is used instead of the By Product rate.

Note that the commissions rate you set is the rate you keep and not what is paid out to your vendors.
