Step-by-step guide on how to do it in PuppetVendors
- Go to Settings
- Then Documents
- Next, go to Invoices
- This page will appear. This shows us the details for the invoices:
- Can Vendors Generate Invoices - you can allow or not allow your vendors to generate invoices on their vendor portal
- Request Permission to Auto-Generate Invoices - once you allow your vendors to generate invoices, you can request permission from your vendors to auto-generate invoices for compliance purposes
- Pop-up sample field - This is where you add your message (optional) for your request
- Can Vendors Generate Customer Invoices - option for vendors to generate customer invoices
- Customer Invoice Title - to customize invoice title
- Bill Invoice To? - you can choose if the invoices should be billed to the merchant or to the vendor
- Amount Used - the amount in the invoice can be based from the net sales, commissions or the payout
- Document Title - field to add your document title, in this sample, we used 'Invoices'
- Invoice Address - enter your invoice address here if it is different from your business address
- Show Commissions - you can choose whether to show or hide commissions
- Commission Label - you can customize your commissions label here
- Always show Tax/VAT? - option to show or hide taxes
- Tax/VAT inclusive? - will the amount be inclusive of taxes or not
- Only show tax/VAT when vendor info is available - option to show taxes only when vendor information is available
- Tax/VAT label - customize your tax labels here
- Tax/VAT ID - enter your tax/VAT ID here
- Tax/VAT rate (%) - add your tax rates here
- Footer Information - add more information at the invoice footer
- Save button - to save your preferences
