If you are seeing the image below where the COI shows a value of zero (0.00) and an exclamation mark (!), this article will help you resolve this.
This usually happens when the system is not able to see any product SKU for the line items. This most likely happens because the SKU values were assigned to the line item after it was sold. Only new orders created after the SKU assignment will display the updated SKUs.

How to troubleshoot Cost of Items
- Click the More button when the COI shows up as zero

- The line item view will appear. Click on the exclamation point to re-assign the item.

- This window will appear. Choose the SKU corresponding to the item and click the Assign and Recalculate button


- The COI will appear and the amount will be recalculated
