How to add vendor profile banners to your collections page on Shopify

This guide shows you how to add vendor profile banners to your collections page on Shopify


Important: For the vendor banner to show, the following three requirements must be fulfilled.



  1. Uploading the vendor's logo in the vendor's profile
  2. Upload the vendor's banner in the vendor's profile
  3. Make sure the vendor's name in the app and the collection's name on Shopify match

  1. Enable Vendor profiles in the Puppet Vendors app under 1. Settings -> 2. Users -> 3. Profile and 4. selecting the vendor information you would like to show on the profile page.

  1. On your Shopify Admin, click on 1. Online Store followed by 2. Themes and then 3. Customize


Accessing the theme editor


  1. You should then see the theme editor loaded. Under page selection dropdown where 4. Home Page is, select and then click on 5. Collections

  1. Under Collections, select the 6. Default collection

  1. After selecting the default collection, 7. Add a section under the template 8. Navigate to the Apps tab and then 9. click on Brand Banner. This adds the section to the page.

  1. Click, hold and move the section up or down to where you would like it placed.

  1. Click on the Save button at the top right hand corner of the page.


Note: Vendor logo or banner must be added on Puppet Vendors for the profile section to show on the collections page.
