How to update Customer Vendor Chat in Shopify
- Log in to your Shopify Admin and go to Online Store (1) > Themes (2) > Customize (3) button
- Under the Home Page (4) options found on the top part of the page, choose Products (5) then Default Products or any product page template you wish to add the button.
- On the default product page, go to Header and click the Add Block option to show the Customer Vendor Message
- Within the theme editor, find the Chat to Seller button. On the left panel, you will see the editable fields for the Customer Vendor Message.
- You can then enter your preferred message texts and/or labels and once you are done making changes, you can click the Save button.
How customers can send a message to your vendor
- From your Shopify Store, the customer can click the Chat to Seller button to reveal message fields
- Fill out the details and click the Send Message button
How your vendors can view and respond to the customers' messages
- Vendors log in to the PuppetVendors Vendor Portal and they navigate to the Chat tab.
- The customer's message will be available in the message field.
- The vendor can then reply via email to the customer.
